Star Boxes are awarded each time you earn a new Star in a Hidden Object Scene. You must open a Star Box to find out what is inside. What's in the box is always a surprise, but it is usually a selection of these things:

The fifth and final Star Box in each scene is a special 5-Star Box! These are especially hard to get, and so they should be more valuable, right?

 

 

You get one of these special 5-Star Boxes when you "master" a scene by getting the fifth Star. Like regular Star Boxes, you won't know what's in a 5-Star Box until you open it. The odds shown below represent the average probability for each reward when opening a 5-Star Box.

Note that 5-Star Boxes can also be purchased if you wish. But remember, you never know what is inside! 

Once you have claimed your Star Box, it goes into a special Star Box storage you can access by tapping the blue satchel in the bottom of the Island screen and then the Star Box icon.

The small number on the icon indicates how many unopened boxes you currently have in your inventory. 

Once you have opened the Star Box inventory, tap on the green button to open a box to see what is inside!

To flip the Cards, tap on them one by one or tap the Reveal button to turn all three Cards at once and see what your gifts are. The gifts are credited to your balances automatically when the cards flip over.

You can collect the Cards one at a time, or tap the Reveal button to turn all three Cards at once.

What are cards inside the Star Boxes and what does card rarity mean?

Each Star Box contains three Cards. These Cards represent the different rewards you might get from the box. Each one is a surprise, but some rewards are quite common and others are quite rare. The rarity on the back of each Card gives you a hint of what you might find on the other side.

There are four different "rarities" shown on the Card backs:

• Common (plain Card)
• Rare (golden border)
• Special (pink) - These are very rare
• Marvelous (violet) - These are stupendously rare and grant you a Seasonal decoration

Generally, rarer Cards equate to more valuable rewards on the Card. These are found more often in the special red Star Boxes.

Regular Star Boxes: Each regular Star Box contains three Cards, one of which is at least a "rare" Card. With some luck, you might even find a "special" Card.

5-Star Boxes: Each special 5-Star Box is rarer and more valuable. 5-Star Boxes also contain three Cards, but one is at least a "special" rarity Card with an extra valuable reward.
