Can I connect to June’s Journey with my Google ID?
Yes. If you have an Android device running the Android operating system that June’s Journey supports, and have the official Google Play version of June's Journey installed, you are now able to connect to the game using your Google ID, regardless of whether you are connected to Facebook or not.
The minimum requirements for the Google sign-in option with an Android device:
- Android 5.1
- an ARM or ARM 64bit device
Keep in mind that if you play using a Chromebook, BlueStacks emulator, or Google Play on PC, you are not able to connect your June’s Journey game with your Google ID.
How can I connect my game with my Google ID?
To connect your game to your Google ID, simply follow these steps:
1. Open June’s Journey and tap the Cog icon on the right side of your screen
2. Open the Social tab
3. Tap ‘Edit Connections’
4. Sign in with Google to connect and save your progress
Alternatively, you can access ‘Edit Connections’ by tapping the Connect button when you first load up June’s Journey on your device.
Can I save my June’s Journey game to my Google ID?
Yes. You can save your game to your Google ID as long as your game is connected to your Google ID as instructed above.
By saving your progress to your Google ID, you can easily restore your game on a new Android device and sync your progress, enabling you to play across multiple Android devices.
Can I save more than one game to my Google ID?
No. You can only connect one game save to your Google ID.
We advise you to use only one game save per device.
If two people are playing on the same device with different accounts, will the first account be overwritten?
If you wish to keep both June’s Journey accounts on the same device, and you are either connected with Facebook or with your Google ID, you can use the ‘Connections’ functionality under the ‘Edit Connections’ section of the Social menu.
You will be asked to choose which game you would like to activate. You can connect with either your Facebook saved game or the game associated with your Google ID, and then start your next session!
How can I make sure that the correct game is connected to my Google ID?
If you have more than one game on the same device, you will be asked to confirm that the correct game is connected to your Google ID. You can choose which save you would like to connect to your Google ID, and you can continue with your session directly.
Careful though, Detective, because the other save will be deleted permanently!
Can I visit my friends using the social features (boat, clubs, etc.) with my Google ID?
Unfortunately, for the time being, social features are only available for Facebook-connected players. Worry not though, Detective, for you can connect your game to both your Facebook account and Google ID. This way you can visit your friends even from your Google-connected game.
What happens if I press the Log Out button?
If you tap the Log Out button on the ‘Connections’ pop-up, you will be logged out and your game will no longer be connected to your Google ID.
When you reload your game after you have logged out, a new game with a new June’s Journey User ID will start. At this point, all the other services that you were connected to with your game (including Facebook) are no longer linked to your new game automatically.
However, you still have the option to re-connect your game by pressing the Connect button. Just make sure you choose the correct game save!
