The cooldown period starts after the event ends. During the cooldown period, you cannot progress in the event, but you can access the rewards screen and claim your rewards.

After the cooldown period is over, the event’s rewards screen is no longer available.

So don’t wait too long to reach a new tier or take a screenshot! Be sure to claim your rewards and take a screenshot of your movie set before the cooldown phase is over.
