How do I unlock the Detective’s Cabin?

You can start exploring the Detective’s Cabin once you reach Chapter 3, Scene 3. Look for the cabin on the right side of your island, right by the beach.

How do I play Block Puzzle?

In Block Puzzle, your goal is to fit differently shaped block pieces onto a grid. Simply drag and drop the pieces onto the game board, aiming to make matches by filling entire rows, columns, or any of the nine 3x3 boxes in the marked areas on the board.

Whenever you make a match, you earn additional points. 

Each daily puzzle has three point targets for you to reach, and you’ll earn a Skill Token for reaching each target. The game ends either when there's no space left to place a piece, or when you reach the highest point target.

Aim for the highest score and complete the puzzle. Have fun … and good luck!

How do I score points?

You earn points for every piece you place on the board--and bonus points for matches. These points contribute to earning Skill Tokens.

A match is achieved by aligning pieces so that you complete a row, column, or 3x3 box shape, resulting in the blocks being cleared and points being added to your total score.

Below are the combinations that can be made to earn additional points:

• Box: A match created by filling a 3x3 space on the board that has either a lighter or darker color. 
• Column: A match created by filling a whole column with blocks.
• Row: A match created by filling a whole row with blocks.
• Combo: If you make multiple matches in one move, you get a combo. The bigger the combo, the more points you earn.
• Streak: Making consecutive matches creates streaks, and each streak match gives you bonus points.

Why did I not get a box match?

Not every 3x3 block formation will create a match. When you look at the empty game board, you’ll notice that some 3x3 boxes are highlighted in lighter or darker colors. To make a box match, you need to completely fill one of these marked areas with blocks.

What happens when I run out of space?

If you can't place any new pieces on the grid, the round ends. But don't worry, you have options!

• Continue playing: You can spend Diamonds to clear a section in the center of the board, giving you space to place pieces again. This way, you can keep playing and try to reach the highest point target to earn all three Skill Tokens.

• Replay the puzzle: Alternatively, you can choose to end the current round and replay the puzzle from the beginning. You'll start the new round from 0, but all previously earned Skill Tokens remain yours. Keep in mind that replays come at a cost, and with each additional replay, the cost increases.

What are the requirements to play Block Puzzle?

Once you've unlocked the Detective’s Cabin, a new Block Puzzle will be waiting for you each day. The first round of each new puzzle is free! If you don’t earn all three Skill Tokens, you can replay the puzzle for a cost and try again. Once you’ve hit all three point targets in a puzzle, you’re done for the day.

If you've already completed the daily Block Puzzle, don't worry! Enjoy the other events that June’s Journey has to offer, and come back the next day for a brand-new Block Puzzle. Keep an eye out for the event timer above the Detective’s Cabin--it will let you know when a new puzzle is ready for you to master!

When is the next Block Puzzle available?

A new Block Puzzle is available each day. Look for the event timer above the Detective’s Cabin to see when a new puzzle is ready. If you've already played the free round of Block Puzzle for the day and want to know exactly when the next puzzle will be available, just tap on the Detective’s Cabin. You'll see a timer on the screen counting down to the start of the next Block Puzzle.

Why can’t I play more Block Puzzle?

Once you have unlocked the Detective’s Cabin, one Block Puzzle is available to you each day. Once you’ve earned all three Skill Tokens in that puzzle, you’re done with Block Puzzle for the day. A new one will be available the next day. In the meantime, enjoy the other events that June’s Journey has to offer!
