Encore is an exciting addition to our beloved Memoirs and lets you relive the magic of past Memoir album classics. Once you successfully complete an album, Encore starts automatically, immediately offering you the chance to play a previous album from the past Memoirs.
It’s more than just a replay—it’s your perfect opportunity to finally capture the memories you missed the first time around and collect any missing Snippets to complete that album, unlock previously missed Beautifications, and maybe even experience an older album from before you started playing June's Journey, revealing new and intriguing information about our beloved characters!
How do I start the Encore album?
It’s easy! The moment you finish collecting all Snippets for your current Memoirs album, a special pop-up will appear when you open the main album screen to let you know that Encore has started.
The Encore album’s page is automatically added right there, and you’ll be greeted with the returning album’s unique introduction story.
That’s it! You’re now ready to open those Memoir Packs and start collecting Snippets for the Encore album! Remember, the Encore period lasts for the remainder of the current main Memoir album duration. Happy collecting!
Do I lose my progress for the original album Encore is based on?
Absolutely not! Your original album progress is completely safe.
When Encore starts, we temporarily add a new, fresh album page. This lets you experience the entire previous album from the beginning—a fresh start for a new round of collecting! That’s why your old Snippets aren't counted on the Encore page.
However, once the main Memoirs event timer runs out, all the brand-new snippets you collected during the Encore period are automatically added to your original album’s page!
Even if you only found a few extra snippets, they could be the very ones you were missing! You might complete those last few pictures, or maybe even finish the entire original album!
Do I lose my progress for the main album?
Your previously completed album's progress is, of course, safe as well! You can check your main album page anytime:
On the Encore page, just tap the left arrow button once to flip back to the main album you completed right before Encore started.
Your detective work is always rewarded!
What happens to my unopened Memoirs packs and unused Reminders when Encore starts?
Don’t worry, your items are completely safe! On the contrary, your existing Memoirs Packs and Reminders become even more valuable.
Once Encore begins, any Packs you open and any Reminders you use will contain Snippets specifically for the Encore album you're now replaying. This is great news, as it means you'll get fresh Snippets instead of only receiving Déjà Vu tokens from the album you just completed!
Which three album pages are relevant during Encore?
Great question! During Encore, you'll see:
- Your main album page – the one you completed before Encore started.
- The fresh Encore page – a clean slate for replaying the original album from the past. The Encore album page is removed again after the Memoirs album event ends.
- The original version of the Encore album – showing your progress from when it first ran.
You can freely switch between these pages while Encore is active. However, the original version of the Encore album will not update during the Encore period. That means you won’t see any new progress there until Encore ends.
Once the Encore event finishes, and you manually navigate to that original album page, a pop-up will confirm that your newly collected Snippets have been added. We don’t list which ones, but rest assured—they’re there! Only then will your original album’s progress reflect the new additions.
What happens after I’ve completed the Encore album?
That's fantastic work, detective! If you manage to complete the Encore album within the remaining event time, there isn’t a second Encore.
However, your collecting doesn't have to stop there! You can still keep collecting Déjà Vu tokens, and use them in the Déjà Vu Token Store!
What happens when the Memoirs Encore album timer ends?
Once the Memoirs Encore event ends, the Encore album page will gracefully disappear from your album browser.
But don’t worry — your progress is saved!
All new Snippets you collected during the Encore event are automatically added to the original version of that album. This means the Snippets now appear on the album page from the first time that album was released.
To check your progress:
- Open your album browser.
- Use the arrow buttons to scroll back to earlier albums.
- Find the original version of the Encore album.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear showing which Snippets were added.
This way, you can see whether you’ve completed a picture — or maybe even the entire album!
