Visions
Bailey has always had the ability to see visions but never knew how to trigger them herself. When Rosie offers to share her grandma’s expertise on potion crafting to induce visions, it seems like the perfect opportunity to tap this useful skill.
Visions are an exciting new feature where you can unlock Bailey’s ability to see visions of the past. Through this feature, you’ll discover more about your favorite Switchcraft characters, as well as some secrets not yet known. Enjoy this new experience in your Switchcraft journey!
What are visions?
Visions grant you a glimpse into the lives of Bailey and other characters from Switchcraft. Each vision has a unique story to tell and reveals hidden secrets you won’t learn from the main story.
As you collect Vision Fragments from potion crafting, you’ll place them into their respective visions to experience an exclusive insight into certain characters in Switchcraft. You’ll receive additional rewards for completion to boot!
Once unlocked, each vision is available to view as many times as you like. If you reset your game, you can enjoy the challenge of unlocking them all over again.
What are Vision Fragments?
Vision Fragments act as clues about the completed vision. You need to collect a specific number of Fragments of varying rarities to complete the vision.
As your collection of Vision Fragments grows, you’ll start to get a few duplicates. Don’t worry—duplicates are valuable too! You can exchange them for currency you can use in other areas of Switchcraft.
Where do I get Fragments?
You gain Fragments by crafting potions in your cauldron, which you can access from the Visions tab at the bottom of the main screen once you’ve unlocked the visions feature. Before you can craft, though, you will need to collect two kinds of ingredients: herbs and insight.
You obtain herbs by checking off items on your to-do list in the magic mirror (i.e., completing story scenes); you will receive Fragments after you return to the mirror.
After you have reached the end of main story content, you get herbs by:

Visiting Magnus and collecting his daily bonus
Watering your Magicka Plant
If end-of-content players reset their game to replay the story, they gain herbs via story scenes.
You gain insight from playing our match-3 levels. Insight will appear at random points throughout each level, and you’ll see how many you gained altogether on the reward screen after beating the level.
How do I make potions?
After gathering enough herbs and insight, you can start crafting potions in the Crafting section of the Visions tab. You can make three types of potions:
Seer Potion
Visionary Potion
Oracle Potion
The potions will require different amounts of herbs and insight. They also take different lengths of time to craft, although you may choose to skip this timer by using coins.
Stronger potions require more ingredients and take longer to craft; however, they also have a higher chance of granting you rarer Vision Fragments and give you fewer duplicates.
What are Fragment rarities?
Each Fragment will have a rarity that indicates how likely it is to drop when you use a potion. Bronze rarity means a common drop, and silver is rarer, while gold Fragments are the rarest.
By opening potions of different strengths, you will have a higher chance of receiving rarer fragments to place inside your visions. Again, duplicates are a good thing—you receive rewards for these!
How do I place Fragments?
Now that you’ve gathered some Fragments, it’s time to reveal those visions! Tap the Visions tab and review the nine visions in the vision panel. If you have Fragments you haven’t yet placed in a particular vision, that vision will show a number in a red bubble at the upper right. This tells you how many Fragments you currently have to place, so you’ll know exactly where to go.
Once inside a vision, you can drag and place the Fragments into the corresponding spots, like in a jigsaw puzzle. Remember to tap on them to read the clue—maybe you can figure out what the vision will be before it’s fully revealed!
What happens when I complete a vision?
Congratulations! Once you’ve placed all the Fragments into a vision, tap it to view it. You can see it as often as you like. Also, all the Fragments you placed inside the vision will reappear at the bottom of the screen, so you can view them again as well.
