Claire's Chronicles levels can present a tricky challenge! Fortunately, you can also choose to use certain boosters that give you a better chance at overcoming these challenges. You see them at different stages during your gameplay.
Before the level starts
After you tap the "Play" symbol button to start a round of solitaire, you have the choice to select certain boosters, to begin playing with a strategic advantage:
Mysterious Envelopes
When you activate this booster, three Jokers will be placed under existing cards on the board.
Fountain Pen
This booster destroys five cards on the board when the game starts, giving you an immediate advantage.
Trusty Lighter
The Trusty Lighter is added to your deck. When you draw it, it clears all face-up cards from the board.
During the level
Jokers
The Joker, located to the right of your active hand card, works exactly like any Joker you find on the board. You can activate one in exchange for coins, and it can match with any card. Use it to get out of sticky situations!
Undo
If you match a card and then notice you had a better move available, or if you took a card from your deck before realizing you had a match, you can use an Undo to backtrack and reverse one move.
While you can earn more Undos as you play, they're rare, so use them wisely!
Near the end of the level
+5 Cards
This booster comes into play if you run out of cards in your deck before beating the level. If you find yourself in this situation and don't have any available matches, this booster offers you more opportunities to successfully complete the level
