Mystic Bay is part of a small archipelago of islands off the coast of Maine, USA. Despite its northern latitude, its unique microclimate gives the island perfect conditions to grow grapes.

Quintin Heart came to the island in the early 20th century and founded the community of Mystic Bay. He brought with him a passion for Roman myths and architecture, which can be found here and there around the island.

Over the years, the vineyards became the focal point of the island’s economy, as Mystic Bay produced grapes with a richness unrivaled even by the finest vineyards in France. The prospect of good wine and money attracted the attention of the elites, who eventually settled in Mystic Bay and built the opulent estates that can be found around the island.
