What is “Invite Your Friends”?

Hey Detectives! 

With the new Invite Your Friends feature, you can grow your community by inviting others to join you on your journey--while earning amazing rewards for both you and your friends. In other words, this is an awesome way to stay connected with friends and have fun together in the game!

How does Invite Your Friends work?

Inviting friends is effortless:

Step 1: Access the feature from the Visit a Friend pop-up that opens from the boat on your island.

 

Step 2: Share your unique invitation link. This will open your device’s message-sharing options, allowing you to choose how to send the invitation--via messenger, email, SMS, or by copying and pasting the link.

 

Step 3: Your friends install June’s Journey using your link.


Step 4: You are rewarded when your friends unlock Chapter 2, and your friends are rewarded when they finish the game tutorial.

Step 5: Have fun! 

 

How do I receive the reward after inviting friends?

The rewards will be sent to the Orchid Island mailbox for both of you.


Do I have to follow the same steps to invite each friend?


Not at all! Once you have created an invitation link, you can share it with all your friends in a group or send it to them individually. The same one will work for all your friends.

You will receive rewards for up to five invited friends who install the game and reach the designated point in the game.

For the time being, please keep in mind that only Detectives playing on iOS or Android are able to invite friends.

 

Is there a limit to how many friends I can invite?

All your friends are welcome! The more friends, the more fun! 

Even though you can invite as many friends as you want, the rewards will be granted only for five eligible friends.

 

Who are my “eligible” friends?

  • Only a friend who is installing June's Journey for the first time will make you both eligible for a reward.

  • In addition, your friend needs to accept the invitation by installing the game using your unique link.

 

Why didn’t I receive rewards after inviting friends? 

Possible reasons include:

  • You have already reached the limit of five rewards for inviting friends.

  • Your friend hasn’t yet reached the designated point in the game. Ask them to progress a little more to receive the reward!
